Much better on draft than in bottles. Big pine Aroma and flavor, way less malty than the dark red color would indicate. Chris has clearly picked up a few things from Ben's time at idle hands (even of its just the idea of using ipas to get people in the door). Looking forward to what they do in Malden.

Super hoppy off the bat...then settles in and is just great. I don't even like hoppy beers but really enjoyed this.

Moderate head with a modest amount of lace (some streaks and spots). Very dirty light brown color.
More hop than toasted malt. Despite the strong nose, it's soft in both categories.
Brief malt, the hop is strong enough to appear before the swallow. Rather neutral swallow aftertaste for the style. High carbonation on a neutral body.
