The Seam Series embodies the essence of the hazy, juicy New England IPA revolution. A two-seam fastball is typically thrown with less “heat” than its more common brother, the four seam, making it the perfect name this IPA. Featuring flavors of apricot, melon and orange.

a new england style session ipa, my first beer from these guys, i think i wanted it to stand out to me as a little more unique, but i like it a lot, and its drinkable for this style, very hoppy overall, and makes me thirsty for the bigger versions of it! its hazy from the tap, but not as washed out and milky as it looks like it might be from the cans. smells like citrus all the way, bitter grapefruit pith, weed oil, and tangerine, really appealing and without much more than a light cereal thing from the grain, which is true in the taste too. they did a good job keeping this dry and hop driven, but also letting there be a little body, a great texture for a beer like this! the hops are great in the flavor too, and while its obviously mostly dry hopped, a lot of the nice fruitiness and freshness come through in the taste, light kiwi fruit and lime, hints of lemongrass and lemon too, and more bitterness than i was anticipated for a new england style and for a session. nice job with this, perhaps a touch filling for what it is, but a nice compliment to hearty bowl of chili!

Olden yellow orange in color. Somewhat hazy. One of the better session ipas I've had. Solid ipa from a brewery that doesn't do a whole lot of them.
