Canned 5/13/20
Pours a large creamy thicker off-white head with good retention, light lacing, very clear cranberry-ruby red color
Nose brings nice malts and malt-derived esters, toasted grain, little biscuity, caramel, toffee, nice Vienna malt, touch of fruit, light floral herbal noble hops, getting a bit more toasty grainy sweet malts, into a touch of bread crust and maybe even chocolate caramel
Taste brings lots more malt up front, toasty grainy, some caramel, biscuity, lots of VIenna malt characters, into a hint of chocolate and bread crust again, a bit of caramel toffee notes, and light fruity malt-derived esters, then mild hops, little bitterness with some floral hops getting a touch fruity as well, soft lager center, dry finish with a bit more bitterness heading towards a med bitterness but falls short, lingering floral slight spicy hops and sweet grainy toasty malt
Mouth is med bod, nice soft lager, crisp finish, med to a bit higher foamy carb
Overall solid Vienna "amber" lager, not quite sure I could call it "Czech" as the hops are not quite there, but the base lager is quite nice, so quite enjoyable, and if they just called it Vienna lager or Amber lager or something the score would be up there, but "Czech-style" doesn't quite get there

Pours a clear deep amber-copper in color with nearly two fingers of dense just off white head. Aroma is richly malty, a touch of caramel, a hint of herbal hops. Taste hits the same notes as the aroma, it’s almost all malt with the bready and malliard notes. This starts a little sweet but ends more balanced. An herbal hop note lingers in the long finish. Medium plus bodied with moderately low carbonation, very smooth, almost creamy. Overall a tasty and drinkable amber lager.
