Canned 2021/11/03
Pours a 1/2 finger off white foamy head with med retention, semi clear darker auburn to brown color
Nose sweet toasted biscuity, very toasty with some toffee and hint of caramel, brown sugar, candied dried dark fruits, nice fruity esters
Taste semi sweet with big toasted malts, biscuity, nutty toffee, little caramel, light perfumey alcohol with phenol notes, fruity esters, candied dark fruits again, toasted sweet bread crust, touch of bitterness, rich malt, semi sweet finish, smooth alcohol, bit more bitterness
Mouth is fuller bod, smooth alcohol, med to a bit lighter foamy carb
Overall pretty good beer, too style and enjoyable, nice alcohol warmth for a winter beer
