On draught. Pour was a nice hazy almost dark hefe look with bright white dense head and stick lace. The aroma definitely continued the hefeweiss banana, clove and lemon but with a dank mushroom too. The body was medium with a hearty yeasty quality again like a hefe but with both a hoppy bitter and sour smack to it. Nice summer beer with body, definitely with a nice meal. One of my favorites of theirs

Foundry Northampton. Notes taken 06/05/15.
A- One finger white head rises atop a hazy golden brew from the draft into a tulip. Good head retention and a large ring leads to massive webs of lace.
S/T- Reminds me of the other Mystic farmhouse brews with a spicy, herbal and citrus Saison yeast base. A bit tart with lime, mango, lemon zest, citric acid and clementines coming to mind from a moderate dose of hops.
MF- Fairly dried out light-medium overall body for the style. The texture is somewhat frothy with a high end carbonation; lacks a bit of smooth creaminess. Clean bitter finish; spicy and hoppy.
Another Mystic Saison sampled and yet again a fan of it. Has the yeast feel of other Mystic brews now with a mixture of fresh hops atop that.

On draft at Foundry in Northampton, Ma.
Wonderful appearance, steady rising carbonation, an everlasting cap.
Refined hop nose, a pleasant grain bill, use of yeast, is delightful.
A real treat.
Cheers
