Tap at rail trail
Big foamy head, thick lacing dark slightly clear auburn chestnut color.
Nose nice saison funk, grainy doughy, raw bread dough, little reddish candy malts, grassy malt, little grassy hop.
Taste nice funk, farmhouse earthy funk, saison spices, light ester and good phenols, peppery notes, little sweet caramel malt profile, good grassy herbal hops, chewy almost spicy hops late. Dry finish spicy hops.
Mouth is med bod, nice carb.
Overall very nice, good balance of saison, funk, caramel sweetness etc, and hops that get a little aggressive.

Pours cloudy, dark-brown in color, with 1/3 inch head. Taste is florals with grass, dark wheat, cocoa, and yeast. There is another flavor in there that I cannot place, but this beer is really tasty. Super malty and interesting. I would get this one again if I can find it.
