Pours a bright, golden color. Clear and very effervescent. Two finger white sudsy head forms on the beer but pretty steadily dissipates leaving just a thin layer of velvety foam on top of the beer. The effervescent bubbles keep at least a thin layer of foam on top of the beer. Aroma has notes of sweet white bread - think wonder bread - a little corn, and some generic sweetness. (yes I know you can't smell sweetness, but its that aroma that implies a certain sweetness in the beer).

Taste follows the nose with notes of white bread, lightly toasted, some sweet malts, a touch of dried corn, and a subtle, but present light spicy, grassy hop notes. It is simple, straightforward but very *winces* crushable. Feel is light, crisp, and easy drinking. Very brightly carbonated.

Overall this is a really nice American lager. Has good flavor while still being simple and approachable.

Poured exceptionally clear - I could see the underside of the remaining head after about a 3 minute phone call during which I just could look at it.
The aroma is mild, bready, slightly peppery (I think, I may have imagined that) and whatever, but it's inviting.
the flavor kind of follows, mild with notes of biscuit and grassy like flavors. Probably a technical term for those but it's what I know.
Feel was excellent, went down quickly and smoothly. Just enough carbonation to give it some life
Nice beer if you want something clean and refreshing.

This beer is more than "passable" if your palate is tuned into pilseners. It's available year-round and sold mostly commercially in and around SE Michigan.

This beer has mild hints of hoppiness - a bit more would make it better. It finishes clean, but struggles a tad in the mouth feel. Make sure it is not too cold!

A GREAT Effort.

Served on tap at the Wolverine State Brewery in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
A: Pours a crystal clear, golden color with a one finger, white head, ring retention, but solid rings of lacing.
S: Aromas are very grassy and grainy consistent with the style.
T: Semidry too dry. Flavor pallet similar to the nose, but with more apple. Very light bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Drinks very smoothly and cleanly.
O: I found this to be a very drinkable American Lager, somewhat reminiscent of a Dortmunder, actually.

Poured into a lager glass, the appearance was a glossy mild yellow color. Capped by a thin foamy white head, it swiftly glided off to leave some sliding lace.
The aroma had some sweet bready malts and a touch of grassy/earthiness.
The flavor leaned towards the malty sweetness and had a mild grassy to bready aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Smooth, semi-crisp lagery finish.
Overall, not bad for what it is, I could give another shot if offered.

Smells like Thanksgiving dinner? Hint of old canned peas on the palate, and something that reminds me of elementary school art class. Watery mouthfeel, doesn't have much going for it but at least none of it tastes particularly bad. By far the oddest beer I've had.

Very nice, solid lager. Poured from bottle to glass. Honey colored liquid with a finger of foam. Big malty flavor, with honey biscuit complemented by herbal and floral hop notes. Fuller than expected feel.

A little disappointing as I expected something more from this beer that bills itself as “Michigan’s premium lager.” Mildly pale yellow color with a small amount of head. Smells of floral scents and malt, but tastes mainly of grain and malt with a strange mild sourness that lingers in the finish. Thin mouthfeel, decent carbonation throughout. I expected either more flavor, or a smoother beer. But I got neither.
