As per the beer menu: "Brewed from authentic Tasmanian hops." Okay, whatever.
Dark brown pour with aboslutely no head. Unimpressive, to say the least, but a nice color...
Big fruit esters in nose, actually pretty nice. There's just a hint of hops, too, and right away I'm thinking this might be a good beer, but:
Tastes like daictyl mixed with slight fruit in the front, harsh seltzer bubbles in the middle that kill most flavor, and a very dry citrus afertaste. Bland, mostly.
