I like this local brewery. Some of their beers are a little too strong for em. However, the Luv Jus is just right.

I liked this but this is a low on fruit character wit. In both the aroma and taste there is a good wheat flavors (grainy, vanilla) some spice (although low), sweet and tart. Decent complexity. The fruit is low overall however. Decent blending and more on the dry side for finishing. Approaching moderate feel and decently soft with the tartness and carbonation moving away from smoothness to a little more bite - maybe more like a nibble. Reasonably refreshing on a lovely fall evening.

pour at the brewery with my boy Ogimminstein McGuillicutty

I really like this one, but I like all wit biers so YMMV. Typical look, smell, and taste, but I really enjoyed this one.

"Out Witbier is another unique addition to the Harriet line-up. A double decoction makes this our most rigorous mash schedule, employing a cereal decoction to cultivate creamy and malty overtones. Crushed coriander, orange peel and a few hops are added resulting in a refreshing citrusy light malty summer brew."

Jus is French for "juice". "Luv" is short for "love", and they just like the symmetry of two three-letter words.

It's a witbier. Hazy golden coloring, large, flush, fresh snowy white head. Looking delightful as can be. Picture perfect.

Aroma: wide open, vast, and airy. Light, lovely, and loaded with spice, coriander, orange peel, wheaty-type notes….every inch of a wittier.

Taste: light bodied, yeasty, spiced with coriander and orange peel, full of flavor and easily drinkable. Not a lot more to say, except that it is exactly right, totally on point, perfectly satisfying. Meets every mark of a witbier, and they should be proud of that. I like wits. They're tasty, refreshing, and pretty. The nicest spice, the juiciest fruit, and so likeable all the way down the throat.

Needless to say, I will revisit this throughout the summer.

Beer poured from on tap and into a tulip glass. It looked hazy gold in colour, and had bright wheat aromas, citrus hops, and banana yeasts. Tasted just like it smelled; banana yeasts, a hint of orange and had a wheaty finish.

Would I buy this beer again? Probably.

Luv Jus-the most recent addition to the Harriet line-up. A long time favorite style of mine, excited to give this version a go.
A-Served in a plastic cup in the tap room as a part of the Great MN Food Truck Rally No. 1 this beer is pale yellow and hazy with plenty of lively bubbles. No head.
S-Spicy wheat, pepper and coriander. Hints of bitter orange.
T-This brew reminds me of a saison mixed with a Belgian wit. Very spicy for a witbier. More black pepper notes with hints of coriander. Finishes with a orange zest, moderately bitter finish. Plenty of wheat flavor.
M-No skimping on the body. Heavy mouthfeel for the style. Finish is a bit long and too bitter for a witbier.
O-The high level of spiciness and bitter orange pith/peel flavor takes away from the drinkability of this beer. Big flavorful beer for a witbier.
