Pours hazy, pale gold. Light creamy fluffy head and lacing. Strong scents of citrus, pineapple, tropical fruit. Flavors aren’t as prevalent on the taste, but there’s a bit of dank weediness. Light to medium bodied, subtle alcohol presence, a bit of a creamy finish. Pretty good.

If the crawfish on its label is any indication, the collaboration beer between Parish Brewing and Tripping Animals is cause for a big 'ole lush celebration.

Crawfish Kush hits the glass with a milky golden-taupe tone of silt with a creamy ivory-stained froth to adorn the rim. Rife with a generous perfume of citrus, stone fruit, tropical fruit and herbal dankness, a suggestion of citronella and patchouli soon follows. Sweeter in its malty tone, its upstart is rich with cereal, spongecake, honey and dough.

With the creamy sweetness stewing away on the middle palate, the hops open up to reveal a nearly tangy portrayal of grapefruit, tangerine and lime with more racy tropical flavors of pineapple, mango, passionfruit, papaya and kiwi to follow. Trending herbal with citrus peel, hemp, spruce and fresh-cut grasses frame a smooth bitterness to close.

Full bodied, rounded, plush and bittersweet, the beer finishes with a light alcohol spice that wraps around the herbal hops for a gin-like botanical nature with a medium-long aftertaste of muddled fruit peels and spruce.

Pours milky gold in color, hazy, with one quarter inch head. Taste is cream, juniper, and raspberry..touch of Cap'n Crun Crunchberry. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. Interesting beer. Have not had one like this before. Good not great.

16 ounce can - $5.00 at Stout Brothers Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: Well-hazed, yellow-orange pallid hue with an inch or so of whitish foam. Modest lacing.

Smell: Floral melon, heavy pineapple, peach gummi candies, yuzu marmalade over a thick stew of oat creme.

Taste: Sweetish, oat-rich creme with strong pineapple, yuzu-grapefruit, muskmelon, peach nectar followed by a strong perfumy vein that switches to a tangy, creamy finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation with a bit of zip to it.

Overall: Not bad.

Parish describes this as a double IPA, however it pours very similar to a NE Style. Color and density of beer is just that. Head is off white with a tinge of orange, however that is likely due to the color of beer creeping through the white. Nose is pineapple and mangos and citrus in general. Taste is like a nectarine with a bit of bitterness on the backend. Feel is kind of thick..like a NE Style. Very good beer
