12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of caramel, toffee and bready notes. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a mild bitterness.

Looks: The can. I bought it for the can. The can sold this beer
Super Marzen bros pours a classic marzen amber with a small 1 finger + head
Smell : faint little sour maybe (Im not a really good beer sniffer)
taste : as Octoberfests go. Meh ..didnt win any 1ups with me. Muted marzen flavor, had some skunkyness after the first couple sips then went away
mouthfeel : felt good in my mouth, lots of beers feel good in my mouth. I like it in my mouth
Overall : Overall Ive had better Octoberfests. but I mostly buy my octoberfest in a bottle. this is the first time I have poured Octoberfest from a can. Usually Octoberfests have a very sharp flavor that shout out its Identity. This didnt have. it kinda struggled to let me know it was a marzen . I remember Yuengling came out with a bottled Octoberfest and it great, A real sleeper much better than this, but the graphics were not as cool. I probably wouldnt buy again it other beers were available.

The only date that I could find was on the bottom of the can and it said '07.03.24'. There is nothing to indicate the meaning of the date, but I'm going to assume that it's the 'Packaged on" date.
$11.99 6-pk @ Publix
AROMA: Mildly sweet with moderate scents of malt, bread, and caramel and then just a touch of toasted biscuits at the very end. Overall, a very pleasing sensation.
APPEARANCE: Pours a clear medium-amber with a 3-fingers tall, tan head whose froth has loose, medium-sized bubbles which dissipate at a moderate pace with minimal lacing. I'm a little disappointed in how quickly the head dissipated, but otherwise, the beer looks very tasty.
TASTE: Moderately sweet with light flavors of malt and caramel. I don't really detect any bitterness, either. While I find the flavor to be pleasing, I also find it to be fairly simplistic and a little on the watery side. In essence, it won't "wow" anyone. But at the same time, it won't offend anyone.
MOUTHFEEL: This is medium-bodied with below-average carbonation. The texture is smooth with a touch of silkiness.
OVERALL: While this beer won't win any awards, it will attract repeat buyers (me being one of them). Which is mainly due to its smooth flavors and its easy drink-ability. My only suggestion would be to try and find a way to reduce the slightly "watery" nature of the flavor, as it tends to detract from the enjoyment level. All-in-all it's a nice Oktoberfest beer that you won't mind having 3 or 4 of as you partake of the festivities.

A very tasty marzen...
Clear with a frothy head that has no staying power, the smell is very muted - to style, just muted. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and smooth - makes this a very poundable beer. The taste is mildly malty, bready, with a light spice flavoring. Great marzen, good to the style, and one I would have again without hesitation...

The Super Mario theme take-off is an appropriately non-traditional package for this non-traditional O-fest.
The Bavarian classics have the sweet malt and the hops ebb and flow until the end.
Super Marzen Bros has the hops push the malt into a secondary position by mid-palate and that is that.
But so it is with many other American interpretations of the O-Fest.
In that context, Super is worth having again a few autumns from now.
My only brew from Florida Avenue, I owe them a micro-review. Another family+ operation that has at least one other brewery in their genes. They have a nice taproom and their menu more than just bar-food. Beyond that, seems like a welcoming Florida micro.

Poured a golden-orange/copper body with decent head and minimal lace. The aroma has a decent amount of earth-tinged hops with a touch of maltiness. Mild, thin body, easy to drink, has a mild malty sweetness underneath an earthy, almost dirty hoppiness that is spring-like and crisp. Semi-dry finish and this is not a great beer, but one you can enjoy multiple times which is nice if you're at an oktoberfest.

I like the can artwork. The pour is light amber colored. The taste is crisp, mild roasted malt notes, mild apple, & mild pear notes too. This was a good Marzen beer but I'm not sure what the abv is. In addition to, I like the Super Mario Bros. theme. Cheers! B
