I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a tulip.
Appearance: rich dark hue with a hazy body and a finger of creamy tan foam. Quite attractive.
Smell: lightly sweet and somewhat tartish farmhouse aroma. Not too bad.
Taste: somewhat tart and funky with a bit of a rough piquancy. Rye is sweet with a caramel character and plenty of biscuitiness. Not strongly to my taste, though not terrible.
Mouthfeel: medium light body but with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: this is an interesting beer, but it doesn't strongly appeal to me.
