Clear golden brew with a white foam in the Maredsous tall goblet. It has a distinctly skunky aroma, but more like the breeze from a Denver front porch than the euro hop. Light body with a bubbly, crisp mouthfeel. Tangy and a little tart, but it's just a suggestion of sourness.

Malty flavor to start with shredded wheat and biscuits. A touch of the wine barrels shows up with the yeast. Dry finish . The label says this is brewed with American's farmhouse yeast blend and aged in red wine barrels for seven months. Very fragrant. One of the mellowest Saisons I've had that involve wine barrels. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

Great mission, great beer. One of the dryer saisons I've ever had courtesy of the wine barrel-aging. Beautiful clear gold pour with A few rows of bubbles streaming from the bottom of the glass. Moderate puffy head. Tannic, dry, lightly tart, smooth, earthy with a light kiss of effervescence. Not a lot of funk and certainly not overly tart. Drinks easy but begs to be sipped and enjoyed as the flavors morph ever so slightly as the temperature rises.
