Interesting blueberry saison. I had a hard time grasping the essence of this beer. When I think of saison, I think of bitter, lambic, funky, sour. This beer was not exactly any of those.
Pours a nice unfiltered beer. Has a little head. Smell is confusing. A little bit of blueberry, a little bit of lambic, a little bit of hops. Taste is good, but not like a saison. To me, it tasted like a heffeweizen. I was perplexed.
I didn't find it offensive though. I liked it. But I think I would have rather called it "big softie blue".
