Poured from a growler into a tulip.
Appearance - Pours a hazy gold color with a sizable, bit fleeting, white head. Darker than I expected and not as clear. It does clear a bit as it warms, though.
Smell - Lemon and yeast, primarily. I smell a bit of malt, as well. Also, strangely, some hops. It almost smells like a Belgian pale ale.
Taste - Lemon again, a bit of yeastiness, and hops. How odd. It kinda tastes like a pale ale, too.
Mouthfeel - High carbonation makes it tingly and light. Good body and very drinkable.
Overall - It's good, but it's not like other saisons that I've had. Not that funky. I do get the lemon and spiciness, but not to the extent that I would expect. Maybe further review is necessary.

Poured out of a growler into my Duvel tulip.
A – Light cloudy golden on the pour with about a one finger bubbly white head that settled down fairly quickly. Nice lacing all down the glass.
S – Has a nice slightly funky smell. Flowery and peppery.
T – Mild tartness up front followed by a great fruity flavor with pear, apples and lemon. Has some great honey sweetness as well. Not overpowering at all but there. Earthy and grassy flavors. Finished with peppery spiciness and just a touch of warming alcohol.
M – Lively carbonation with medium body.
O – Very nice saison. Goes down very easy and has good complexity.
*Reviewer is a total homer for Matt and his brews at TBC. He strongly suggests you get some for yourself and be the judge.
