Growler from Bottleworks in Seattle, picked up 30 May. Tasted 31 May 2015.
Pours a cloudy pale straw yellow, so cloudy it's completely opaque. One finger of whitish head, good retention and decent lacing.
Smell is bright and saison-y. Spice, some light fruit (meyer lemon). Quite nice, refreshing and smooth. A lot of pieces that work together really well.
Taste is delightful. Starts out yeasty, turns a touch lemony tart, then drifts gently bitter. The progression is lovely, and the first two elements are delicious. I don't need the bitter here, but it's soft enough that it doesn't hurt.
Feel is just okay. Fairly light, and the carbonation isn't what it should be. Needs more vibrancy, more life.
A delicious sessionable saison. Bright and flavorful, with excellent spice and fruity tartness. Main complaint is the feel, which leaves the flavors without a stage to shine on. Otherwise... yum.

Had this on 2015-04-30 in Portland, OR at the brewey on tap
A - Hazy orange with little head and light kace
S - Light fruity yeast, lemon, grass. Mild and pleasant
T - Lots of cracker with lemon marmelade, earth and floral spice, white pepper. Nice hop bitterness in the balanced finish. Dry. Tastes great.
M - Light body and carbonation.
O - Excellent, complex, balanced flavors. One heckuva hydration beer.

White farmhouse style with experimental hops.
Light straw color, smells earthy with some sour lemon, taste is similar with some biscuity what cracker back, lightly tart, very clean on the palate with some citrus pith lingering.
