Where’s the blood orange? Nice saison on the peppery side but orange nonexistent. Great and beautiful white head to pull the beer through.
Lucked out the brewery was in the place giving beers away. Had to try it.

Pours a reddish amber, looks tasty. Really felt the hops killed the orange taste, not what I wanted or expected.

Pours a reddish Amber color. Smells strongly of the blood orange and blood orange is definitely the main character in the flavor. The normal saison flavor is buried by the blood orange but it's still a good beer, very unique.

Blood orange is prominent, the nose is what I like best about this beer...wonderful!
Plenty of carbonation...maybe to much. Citrus on the tongue, orange peel, lemon and the juice of blood orange. I drink blood orange juice and love it...this replicates those flavors. Saison? Not sure I'm picking that up...no barn, no animals, no funk. It actually taste like a light sour, would be a great summer beer...very easy to drink, nice bitter finish.
Overall not a bad beer but I'm missing the Saison...and I'm fine with that.

Saison? Not sure I'm picking that up...no barn, no animals, no funk. It actually taste like a light sour, would be a great summer beer...very easy to drink, nice bitter finish.
Overall not a bad beer but I'm missing the Saison...and I'm fine with that.

Pours a slightlly hazed orange/caramel with a thumb of cream colored head.traces of lacing & zero head retention
S: Some citrus notes, a little grassyness & yeastyness as it warms
T: Mushroomy/yeasty up front, dry as well, some orange sneaks in along with with a little juicy stripe chewing gum flavor up front. Some blood orange & yeastyness as this warms. Finishes with pears, orange peel & a little dryness
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, a little gritty
Drinks easy enough, but expected more from this one

The name saison saison, but I categorized this beer as Fruit Beer because it tastes like drinking/eating a blood orange. It's tasty and I can imagine it being even better on a hot day.
