From the other reviews, I am wondering if mine was old or had spoiled. I poured it out. Beware of potential quality issues.

Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from a 750 mL bottle into an El Catador Barrel Aged glass.
A: A: hazy light gold, with a finger's worth of white head that fades fairly quickly, despite a good amount of visible carbonation.
S: Really appealing here ā huge grapefruit juice and rind, dank, and melon. Some spicy and tropical fruit hops as well. Biscuit malts lurk in the background, but largely stay out of the way.
T: Juicy grapefruit ā ruby red and very fresh. Then melon, dank, and less tropical fruits and spicy. Biscuit malt backbone again, but still stay as purely support structure. More grapefruit juice with moderate bitterness in the hang.
M: An average body for style, with good carbonation sensation and low alcohol presence.
O: A really, really tasty citrusy IPA. Very well-made and enjoyable. If this were to ever come in a reasonable 4 or 6 pack of cans Iād be all over it. Yet another winner from Anchorage in my book.

Unfortunately my bottle was old. Over a year old, to be more precise. I'm giving it a little extra love in my rating, be as such. It definitely doesn't clock in at a 4.17 with this much time on it. Ye be warned.

this is an amazing rather new school ipa, something a little different in my experience for anchorage, but absolutely delicious. so fresh it almost tastes and smells wet hopped to me, mosaic and equinox both exploding forth in the nose, and so juicy, citrus forward, and mellow in the flavor, there is very little bitterness here. hazy white to yellow shade from the bottle (another gorgeous label illustration here), short bubbly head, lots of haze but also very bright and glowing, on trend in terms of appearance for sure. aroma almost teases citra hops, i get mild lemon without the bite, and canned pineapple juice, both varietals in this giving it their all, none of the strange cat pee thing i sometimes get from mosaic, and also a white grape element to the fruity profile. awesome grain aspect here too, wheat and oats maybe on top of drier pale barley, its rich feeling and creamy almost, the right structure for these hops, and making the beer seem bigger in the absence of the bitterness which i like. lemon and grapefruit and a little floral honey, the hops are so alive in this its crazy. east coast juicy, but so much more refined than almost any other pale hazy ipa i have had lately. so glad i picked this up, anchorage is definitely one of the best breweries in the country, stoked to have had this beer! one of the only not wild ones i have had from them, really as good as anything else they make. if you find a fresh one like i did, do not miss it! this should be getting more attention!

Pours into a mug hazed murky orange tinged lighter golden with a well formed half finger slight off white, quite menacing looking.Bright lemon and ruby red grapefruit aromas, really fresh and inviting.A big shot of ruby red grapefruit and tangerine really hits ya on the palate that word bright again comes to mind, very little bitterness but just a tad in the finish.Just a juicy ass IPA,very NE in nature just fantastic.

This pours a straw golden in color with light colored foam. Wonderful aroma with lots of melon and grapefruit notes. Wonderfully crisp, with a great finish. Lemony hints on the end. Loved this one.

look: It pours a cloudy orange-yellow color with a white head.
Smell: The initial aroma impression is of citrus and grapefruit.
Taste: There is plenty of citrus flavor with grapefruit and floral. There is also a slight bready backbone to the presentation.
Feel: The carbonation is on the high side and the moderate bitterness is long lasting.
Overall, it is a very hoppy citrus and grapefruit presentation that is pleasant on the palate and not overbearing like so many ipas are.
