look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Appearance: Pours a very hazy honey color and is capped by a finger of foam; splashes of lacing

Smell: Tangerine and tropical fruit tones of papaya and mango along with a white wine grape element

Taste: The white wine grape element is more pronounced in the flavor, asserting itself in the front end and merging with the papaya and mango tones; tangerine bitterness emerges, in the middle to bring a moderate level of bitterness to the finish; pithy and a little boozy

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: The southern hemisphere hops bring a nice element to this otherwise juicy NE IPA

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 11/19/19.

Pours hazy, pale golden with a fairly large head and moderate to high carbonation. Smell is (oddly) banana, something like passionfruit.

Taste is along the same lines, with almost a funk characteristic, which doesn't seem like it was on purpose. It's not bad, but I don't know if this is what it was supposed to be.

Mouthfeel is fairly thick. Kind of gritty. Overall, it's pretty good. But again, I'm not sure if the funk was intentional.
