Murky amber haze with some creamy white foam in the goblet. Label calls it a Double IPA with no mention of the New England style. The powerful aroma is pure orange peel, period. Quite sudsy in the mouth with that slippery raw grain feel. It's extremely sweet and candy-like yet acidic and woody. Overall this is harsh, gunky, and bitter with at unstoppable sweet orange taste. From the 16 oz can purchased on the West Coast. My last Anchorage beer ever, I predict.

16oz can purchased at Rocket Market, high atop Spokane's South Hill. According to a stamp on the bottom of the can (which was VERY small), this was canned on January 13, 2025.
Poured into a similarly sized "can glass," this was an opaque color that was somewhere between yellow and earth tones. Good sized, sudsy, white head. Lots of lace.
Citrusy and fruity hop aroma. Definitely smells like southern hemisphere hops were used.
Big, bold, juicy, citrusy hop flavor. Lots of grapefruit and orange notes. Definitely a little bit brash in the hop flavor department for something this hazy looking, which is fine by me.
Mouth feel is softer than, say, a WCDIPA brewed with the same hop bill, but it's not as soft and creamy as many hazy DIPAs I've had. I'm okay with that, but someone only familiar with genuine NE beers of the style might find it a little "harsh."

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy, mustard colored pour with a one finger frothy white head. Zesty tropical aroma, fruity. Taste is more of the tropical fruit, juicy, creamy. This what tropical fruit Lifesavers used to taste like.

Can. White head with lace. Hazy golden sunset.
One of Anchorage’s creamiest hazys. Very soft. Lots of passionfruit, mango, and papaya. Peach and stone fruit. Very soft and juicy. Drinks too easily.

Opaque dark tan to orange with a tall khaki head.
Spicy and dank with a little bit creamy vanilla and wheat.
There you go. Tavour sending out them old ass IPAs that thankfully don't suck after having some age on them.
