L- Drinking on 5/23, the beer was bottled on 1/26. Pours a hazy golden amber color with a lacy head. From the top, I think I see pangea.
S- Subtle, funky and sweet passionfruit notes, a bit of phenol clove and banana at the tail end. The Passionfruit fruitiness leans into that subtle funk. The notes complement each other. Yeasty and malty sweetness builds as the beer warms which lends to an orange fruitiness. Subtle piney and green hop. Booze towards the end.
T- Follows the nose. Strong passionfruit notes up front, guava follows, with melon at the back end. Sweet and tart fruitiness throughout. A funky, tart sweetness with a citrusy bitterness towards the back end.
F- Medium to heavy bodied, subtle carbonation. Sticky.
O- A really solid and interesting take on a double IPA. Maybe the fruitiest I've ever had. It just lacks a solid backbone, which leads me to say this might be the least favorite of Anchorage I've ever had.

Light fruity aroma and flavor with light passionfruit character. Doesn’t really taste like a DIPA. Subdued hops but lightly bitter.

Good beer, I think the passionfruit overpowers some of the other good qualities a lot more though

Dark orange, slight tannish hues. Strong scents of passion fruit and pineapple, as that’s what this version is labeled as having. Taste is strong on these as well, as it almost seems to burst through with flavor as a fruit forward IPA. Full mouth feel, mouth watering finish, subtly assertive alcohol presence. Really enjoyable and tasty.

Looks like orange juice with a frothy white head. Passion fruit and guava juice with mango, slight berry and melon dank hops in the nose. Taste is a clone of the nose with a touch of honey and hops are more dry and less dank. Feel is airy, juicy, but the added fruit do lighten the load a bit, refreshing.
