Purple body no head. Vinous nose with blueberry, oak, lacto, and brett. Taste is pretty tart blueberry led with white wine notes that don't dry as much as they should, acidic lemon, perfume flowers, and huge oak finish together. Texture is almost syrupy, though somewhat tart, acidic, yet very smooth and vinous, again kind of slimy on the finish.

375ml corked/caged bottle served in a tulip. I don't see a date on it.
Pours purple/blue. With a fascinatingly brilliant purple head that fades quickly. Not a lot of carbonation. Smell is straight up blueberry juice.
Taste is clearly blueberry, but not overwhelmingly so. Moderately tart, equally (or maybe more) funky. A little bit of a hay flavor.
Mouthfeel is thin, dry, a little still. Overall, it's good -- but too much juice, and not enough sour.

Bottle at share, courtesy of Toby. Purple pour with instant violet head. Aroma and taste are bursting with berries, fruity, sweet and tart. Excellent.

Recently stumbled across my notes from The Festival 2012. Lets do this!
A - Poured from an unmarked bottle a nice hazy very light amber with a thin, thin head that fades almost immediately. Hmmm
S - And then the nose hits. Tons of tart sour citrus, super bright and funky with very, very subtle wheat notes.
T - Taste is not quite as flooring as the nose here, crisp and dry with lots of funk and lemons. Flashes of brett as well.
M - Mouthfeel is spot on for this style. Very nice carbonation and a very, very dry finish.
O - Overall, a damn fine beer from Anchorage. Really have yet to have one of their beers I did not like.

A really cool beer moment for me. Sharing this beer with the man himself. Thanks for the tour and the beer Gabe. Poured from a c and c unlabeled bottle.
A - Pours a light, cloudy yells with a nice soft white head.
S - Smells tart with some lemon and subtle wheat tones.
T - Very smooth lemon citrus and soft wheat backbone. A touch of Bret, but not very tart at all.
D - Very dry finish with great carbonation and a perfectly balanced body.
O - So honored to get to try this White Out experiment. Thanks Gabe, and keep up the good work. A truly wonderful beer.
