Brewed with an irresponsible 8lbs of hops per barrel, Don’t Call It Frisco! is our local’s-only Double IPA. Brewed special for San Francisco Beer Week 2015, this impossibly fresh Double IPA is brewed expressly to be enjoyed within days of packaging. A simple base of malted wheat and two-row barley provide the liquid canvas for layering on buckets of Citra, Simcoe, Polaris and Amarillo hops. Aromas of peach, citrus, passionfruit and mango erupt from this IPA fanatic’s hop bomb. Call it fresh, call it hoppy, crushable or dank—just Don’t Call It Frisco!

Just had this in the taproom on 2/10. Flavor was awesome, smooth and creamy and very hoppy. Friend said it was better than Pliny. I don't know if I'd go that far but it is definitely in the same range.

Nice and hoppy and bitter. The smell is a bit like cat litter, which is strange, but the taste makes up for it. Would definitely get this again...although it looks like it won't be around much longer.
