Poured into a tall tulip, the appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy to messy head. Mostly messy lacing, semi-sticky. The aroma starts off with a big sour lemon flowing into a nice semi-sweet to bitter dry hopped grassy sweet hops. Lemongrass subtleties. Tweaked semi-white pepper spice underneath. Nice fresh/bright crispness all around. Some pineapple. Light Stonefruit. The flavor leans sour initially with a sly crisp sour lemon/grassy hops. Subtle malts, seem sour-ed appropriately. Fresh light smooth sour aftertaste flowing into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Overall, really nice dry hopped sour ale that I would preferably have again in the Summer.

Golden straw with thin white head
Smells of green apple and lemon rind
Crisp, refreshing, a little funky
The amount of tartness is very refreshing...not a puckering sour, much more crisp and balanced

This was about the same as most of the other dry hopped sours Almanac does. It was super tart, clean, and crisp. I felt like the hop character was not quite as good as many of the others, but still very enjoyable.
