A thanks to the prince of pilsener, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of lemons, tangerines. Taste is lemons, hops, light malts, very easy drinking. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a highly refreshing beer.

Either this beer is immensely carbonated or it has been shaken in transit because it nearly exploded as I popped the top. After I was able to clear away all of the excess head, the beer actually looks pretty nice in the glass. It is a pale straw color with a little bit of light coming through. The thick white head is lingering. I'm not really picking much up in the nose. Very small amounts of hoppiness and pilsner malt. I think there was something off with this can. It's either infected or been shaken too heavily. There is little to no taste on this and the carbonation is overwhelming. This will likely be a drain pour.

12 oz. can

Pours slightly hazy yellow gold with a creamy white foam head. Smells like lychee, blueberries, mango, peach, apricot, orange citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, melons, pear, some crackery bready honey malts, mild minty tobacco spice, with dank floral earthy herbal grassy resinous pine. Tastes like lychee, blueberries, mango, peach, apricot, orange citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, melons, pear, crackery bready honey malts, some minty tobacco spice, with dank floral earthy herbal grassy resinous pine. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy and smooth with crisp moderate low carbonation. Overall a really nice hoppy pilsner.

Pours a cloudy straw color with a massive, we'll retained white head that left tons of lacing (aggressive pour). Smells of pine and hops. Taste is quite hoppy, in the best way, slight sweetness, a hint of pepper and light malt. Well carbonated, light bodie, clean and crisp.

Draft at BitterCreek. Very pale golden, scant head, but tons of lacing. Piney, hoppy aroma, but light bodied taste with nice crisp finish. Beautiful pils edging on APA territory.

Hoppy citrus-y and fizzy.....all the things I don't look for in a Pilsner. A for effort though as it's definitely something different.

Best pilsner I've had yet (excluding imperials).

On tap. Nice bright and hazy golden brew.

Aroma is clean and bright with a mild but definitive hoppy tone. Taste is clean and crisp with a good balance of sweetness and hops. Mouthfeel pairs superbly with the other attributes of the beer.

Excellent!

12 ounce can into lager glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, orange, pear, pineapple, melon, citrus zest, light pepper, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, grapefruit, orange, pear, pineapple, melon, citrus zest, light pepper, light honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange, pear, pineapple, melon, citrus peel, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance, complexity, and solid robustness of citrus/fruity hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and slight lingering hop astringency near the end of the glass. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and lightly grainy/resinous mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a good Americanized German pilsner. All around good balance, complexity, and solid robustness of citrus/fruity hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink. Feels a bit watered down with less malt flavor than I expected; but has a nice hop profile that isn’t overdone or too bitter. A nicely enjoyable offering.
