Blueberry Ginger Gose

it was cool to visit the almanac taproom because they had a ton of different beers, stuff i have never seen in bottles, and this was one of them. the ginger here i think is a little stronger than the blueberry, its spicy and natural tasting, and its nice with the light mineral salt profile and the sweetness of the blueberries, but i think its just a little dominant and out of balance, at least for high volume consumption, but the relationship between the blueberry and the ginger is a good one, complimentary and even synergistic, which is cool. the sourness is pretty high here, its cleaner than a lot of the almanac stuff i have had before, and its quite puckery, cool with the tartness of the blueberry skins and the drying heat of the ginger, but it makes for a pretty intense drinking experience. i like how light it feels, but more carbonation would really help it move a little bit more. a neat mix of flavors, fresh and real tasting to me, a neat beer from these guys and something that would probably do well in bottled form. highly recommend a visit to their spot, the beer list is incredible! i was happy to find this one there.
