a nice balance between all three of the extra ingredients in this one, none rising or falling more than the next, all contributing equally, albeit at mostly different times, and with them each having their moment in here before culminating in a pretty springy and enjoyable synergy. hardly any color to it, i am used to hibiscus making beer pink, but not here, its a mute golden shade with a short white head from the keg. aroma is cool, really fresh and zesty from the lime, which marries instantly with the bacterial sourness here to make my mouth water. the ginger is there too, fresh and natural, but not overly spicy or intense like i thought it might be. the flavor is awesome, the hibiscus also gives it a cool freshness, not as floral or overtly perfumy as it can often be, with the lime highlighting it beautifully. the ginger is mostly late, and there is some herbal bitterness here. interestingly, the sour profile is really minimally interesting, even for these guys, its approaching one dimensional, which would bother me more if these ingredients didnt go so well together. quite sour, a small glass is enough, but i really enjoyed this on one of the first sunny warm afternoons that actually felt like spring here. tasty stuff, great connectivity between the ingredients.
