Fantastic, maybe the best non-pilsner lager I've had this year. Smell is a mix of the typical lager malts and oak elements. It's crisp and light on the one hand, but with lots of oak taste notes and vanilla for complexity. Relatively full body, and above average head retention for the style. Somewhat expensive at $4.50 in the NorCal market, but I don't regret paying it, and would buy it again.
