This is not a kettle sour.
Brewed with real apricots. This naturally conditioned, mixed-culture sour ale was aged for months with real fruit in oak barrels creating a delightfully tart and refreshing brew.

Picked this up for like $5 and was happy for doing so upon completion of consumption. Consumed late Summer 2022 on the riverbeach.
Pours a honey, apricot like color, makes 1/2" off white head. Sometimes you get too much fruit suspended and it makes the beer look less good appearance wise. That wasn't the case here, this one looked good for style, like Good Brown Gravy. Call it biscuit lotion. Apricot wild ale smells like clean sour apricots. The shocking reveal at 11.
The taste is a winner, the sourness is above average, as well as the acidity, but the mouth feel is such that is seems to whisk that away pretty quickly. Good amount of apricot notes. No funk. Clean. Mouth feel continues to excel in that it offers a light oak presence and rapid finish.
Not bad beer to have with a jukebox and a bar. They even got a pill to make a soft pack hard. This brings my favorite beer fruit into a no frills and no surprises package at an affordable price. Would bang again.

16 oz can, canned 12/21/20. Pours hazy orange gold with a medium fizzy white head the quickly goes to a light dusting.
The aroma is acidic sour fruit with some vanilla and funky yeast.
The flavor is sweet apricot with some acidic sourness and earthy funk. The mouthfeel is light bodied with a little sharp carbonation.
Overall, a decent fruity sour.

This beer was light and refreshing. It looked beautiful, smelled pleasant, and tasted of subtle apricots. I could have used a bit more apricot, but it was still a very nice beer.

Not bad. But in the end there is this kind of lingering “nothing” like when your date doesn’t know to walk back to Sigma Alpha Kai at 8 AM (we ain’t serving pancakes, sweetheart!). Yeah, it’s ok and I’m cool with that.

One of the few stone fruit sours I have come across in my area, I decided to give it a try! Appearance is a hazy orange color with minimal head, low cap and very little lacing. Carbonation is light. The nose is strong on apricot and not much else. I didn't find the taste to be overly sour, it had the right balance of fruit and tart. Body is a bit heavier than some other sours I've had. Interesting find and may purchase again if I don't come across better versions from other breweries.

Canned 11/13/20
I always enjoy this series. Despite the price, they’re usually all refreshing and interesting beers. I’m always excited to see apricot in anything, especially beer, so this one was calling my name
Pours a very cloudy orange gold with a finger of white head that quickly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The apricot is very prevalent in the nose, with a musty sweetness, along sith sharp oak, leather, and lemony citrus
The flavor starts off tart with a variety of fruits, namely apricot, orange, and peach. The sour peaks on the swallow, bringing notes of leather, tart grapefruit, lemon, and a touch of smoother oak to support it
A medium body pairs with mild tingling carbonation for thirt quenching sour. Finishes mostly dry with just a touch of sweetness to thicken things up
A damn delicious beer. This is probably one of the best in the series, a great balance and low abv make it infinitely drinkable
