So I picked this one up recently and I thought it was the strawberry basil variant, but it turns out this one is just strawberry sadly. I'm sure it'll be good anyhow, this series is great
Pours an opaque burnt orange with a finger of fizzy white head that quickly recedes to a ring and leaves no lacing
Even with a slightly stuffy nose, I can tell that the vanilla is much more prominent in this variant, balancing out the notes of tart strawberries, lemon, and leathery funk. Nothing too complex but still intriguing
The front end dominates the palate with juicy semi tart strawberries with smooth oak. Mid palate brings a rise of puckering lemon and the swallow brings out sweeter berries with a very light acidic funk
A light, airy body with gentle carbonation leads to an incredibly refreshing finish. Just like the others, however, it finishes a tad too sticky
A good beer, but probably my least favorite in the series thus far. This is one that I don't really see myself returning to much
