Sweet and juicy. Little carbonation. Drinkable, but the 9% starts hitting and becomes self-limiting on the drinkability scale.

Like most other Almanac beers I've tried, Big Love is worth trying but is slightly overpriced and is a one time buy for me. There are other beers I like more for the money.

Draft. Apple cider color pour, small head. Very little aroma. Sweet and fruity, very little carbonation. Almost flat? A little sticky. Did not love, much the less “big love” it.

I am trying a pint of this beer off the tapper at the Yard House in Rancho Mirage, California. It poured a very slight hazy golden with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had ripe pineapple and mango notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with dank ripe tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
