As I took a sip for a split second I thought "Rodenbach"-- but then the moment passed and it's all sour funk. Mouthfeel is extremely sharp. Aroma is wine vinegar. Finish is surprisingly bitter. Then the woody aftertaste takes over. The fruity flavors will interest some sour enthusiasts but it's just harsh and vinegary for my taste buds. Clear yellow amber color with adequate foam in the Duvel nonic. From the 16 oz can purchased at the beer store. Canned 11/07/23, so apparently the lactobacillus has had time to do its evil work.
