Fair ale with a touch of figs
Presentation: 33 cl brown capped bottle. Green label with a blue stripe, Gothic typography with the name of the brew. Side notes highlight ingredients and main characteristics. Notes best by date 03/12 and 3,5% Alc. by Vol. Served in a tulip glass.
A - Hazy golden pour, frothy head with moderate retention and fair surface memory, and also fair if a bit short lacing.
S - Soft ale nose with a touch of bready malts, hint of hops, and a lingering fruity sense.
T - Tastes is fair if a bit generic, the touch of figs is almost unnoticeable under a generic soft ale bitterness, soft malty sweetness and a light citric hint of hops.
M - Medium/light body with soft carbonation and a fair mellow finish.
O - Worth the try but short of anything memorable.
Notes: Nice to see a local go at a fruit beer, but while decent it feels a bit too shy and generic.
