Pours out to a slightly hazy light golden forming a thin white head with very poor retention and no lacing in a beer clean glass and vigorous pour. Carbonation is moderate, about 2.5. Nose of toast and Cheerios, a little sulfur and grass. Quite weird for a helles. Mouthfeel is thin bodied and it coats the tongue in an unpleasant way. A helles should be crisp and clean and this definitely isn’t. In the taste, strong toast and totally inappropriate biscuit flavor, then a weird fruitiness which I can’t put my finger on that I’ve tasted in bad homebrewed lagers that faintly reminds me of urine and Cheerios. Bitterness is minimal and there is no perceptible hop flavor or aroma. Tastes slightly oxidized with newspaper in the finish.

This one’s a dud. Totally inappropriate for the style. I cannot recommend it and I won’t be buying it

12oz can, adhesive label. Bottom stamp is 'SUPERIOR 07/16/25', label advises to 'ENJOY WITHIN 4 MONTHS OF DATE ON BOTTOM'.
Mostly clear, with a slight haze, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head, which reduces to a full cap and higher ring. Leaves behind short lacing strings.
Aroma of sweet malted grains and floral hops.
Taste is honey sweet. Flavors of toasted bread, a little grass, and citrus/floral hops. Bitterness is low. All flavors continue into the extended aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Very slight minerality. Clean finish. Very good carbonation.
A bright and sweet brew that is very easy to imbibe.

 

 

Pours a straw color with a medium white head on top. Has a lot of bread yeast smell to it. Taste is of dank banana? With a grain finish. Aftertaste is of malt.

 

 

 

 

 

Golden and mostly clear with a decent amount of fizzy-ish white head. Ok retention and almost no lacing. Aroma is muted grains & light malt. Taste is bread & biscuit with a dose of honey. Fairly clean and certainly easy going down.

 

This is a solid logger that is not trying to be something it is not. It is refreshing as it is just a German style longer with no fruit or other type of aftertaste.

Easy pouring with a light bit of foam, no waiting. The color is classic light lager, golden yellow and fairly clear. The flavor is biscuits and honey offset very nicely by a light hop finish. It is very smooth and easy drinking but still has good flavor. Mouthfeel is about as good as it gets. Another great lager from Blackrocks.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a thin cap of foam.
Subtle sweetness with a fine hop note. Finishes crisp and clean.

I'm pleased that breweries have been making mellower beers. This brew is just right for daily drinking! The balance between the sweet and bitter right on the money. The Super Deluxe is Super Refreshing!
