A fine beer but, not to style, more of a pale than a saison

On tap at Red Papaya.
I'd call this a solid middle-of-the-road saison, both in flavor profile and in overall quality. It's got a strong yeast presence, and a full creamy mouthfeel. It's not tart, and not in the least bitter. No unusual flavors added to the conventional farmhouse ale.
This beer went well with a Vietnamese meal, and would probably pair well with food generally.
It's not going to make any "best saison" lists, but it's a very good beer that's well worth having when you're looking for a farmhouse ale.
