Picked up a 16 oz mason jar from the Craft Beer Hop Stop today for $6.00. Awesome base beer, looking forward to trying the BBA version.
Beer poured black as night with a nice off white head that is leaving some lacing behind.
Nose is coffee forward, vanilla, over a medium roasted malt base.
Taste is coffee and vanilla over a roasted malt base. Finish is hopped enough to keep this well balanced. Not catching any bourbon other than a touch of warmth.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth.
Overall a very tasty beer that i am glad to have tried.
