Side note: I have listed this beer as saison/farmhouse as I feel that is the most accurate beer style for this offering. From my limited searching, it appears that Grisette itself is it's own style of beer even though it is not recognized on this site.

On tap at the Farmers' Cabinet and served in a pint glass. This brew appears a perfectly clear straw yellow color with streaming bubbles of carbonation throughout the body. It has a white fluffy head that maintains fairly good retention and leaves an entire wall of lacing effect on the sides of the glass.

The smell of this brew is sweet with a hint of honey. There are citrus and fruity elements throughout that compliment an interesting sort of clean and refreshing pale grain base. As the brew comes up to temperature, it shows off more fruited characteristics. It has a very soft and subtle aroma that is mostly composed of a clover-honey sort of aspect.

The taste is crisp and very lightly tart. It is grainy with a mild flavoring of clover honey that imparts a dry finish. It has fruity indications without being sweet that are reminiscent of pears and garden herbs. As the brew comes up to temperature, it has a faint clove spice and some mild indications of peppery quality.

This is a light bodied brew with a lively level of active carbonation. It is crisp, dry and refreshing yet at times has a sweeter indication. This is a very enjoyable and interesting brew. I am very much unfamiliar with this Grisette style of beer but this first time offering has certainly peaked my interest. It is like a sort of hybrid saison meets berliner weisse but without the sourness or lemony quality and a light hint of wit beer aspects. A very quaffable brew that I could see myself enjoying several pints of during the summertime.
