pours a transparent pale golden color with a tight white head and decent lace. The nose has notes of lemon then a tangy spicy yeast. There is a fair bit of resigns hop, a touch floral, notes of honey and a bit on the sugary side. The flavor is a bit more subdued and sweet. The spicy is lighter, more fruity and sugary. It is a bit syrupy and heavy, rather wet finish and light carb. Strong hoppy resign and sugar somewhat off with a lack of spice, carb an dry. Not bad overall but a bit lacking. soapy as well, more on nose less in flavor

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a two finger, frothy white head that has great retention only slowly fading into a lasting cap. Streaks and chunks of soapy lacing left behind.
Earthy, floral aroma with delicate hops and earthy saison yeast notes. Subtle pine presence with tropical and sweet fruit as well as some apple and pear. Not as funky as expected with the hops balancing things out.
Medium bodied with a blast of dry hops up front that linger over the saison yeast and estery fruit notes into a slightly dry, boozy finish. Very dry and piny countered by sweetness and subtle earthy funk with a nice grassy presence. Lots of booze toward the back end but still quaffable.

On tap at the Farmers' Cabinet this brew appears a hazy golden color with a thick white froth across the top. The head maintains throughout the entire duration with a light swirl reviving back to a finger's strength. A pattern of webby lacing sticks all over the glass.
The smell of this brew is absolutely bright and juicy with hop character that is very pleasant and much unlike any other saison I have had. Very fruity and tropical smelling with a faint inclusion of the expected saison yeast aspects. As the brew warms, suggestions of orange rinds mixes with more of a pulp to flesh aspect and a bit of pepper.
The taste is fruity initially then dry with clove and pepper. Plenty of spices from the yeast come through much more bold than they showed in the nose. This is a dry finish brew, a bit herbal and bitter with more of that rindy fruit bitterness.
This is a super drinkable brew, very fresh and tasty. Again Terry pulls off a sort of hybrid mixture of styles. You expect the fresh/wet hops to be in an ipa and it really worked to bring this saison up to a different level that I found exceptionally enjoyable. It is medium bodied and modestly carbonated. I would like to get some more of this before it is gone.
