Draft at Farmers' Cabinet.

Pours a very cloudy, dark golden orange color with tangerine edges and a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring.  Chunks of soapy lacing left behind.

Slightly earthy aroma with funky farmhouse/saison yeast, light fruit, citrus and peppery spice.  Hints of bread, straw, apple, lemon and pepper.

Medium bodied but fuller than expected with a balance of funky yeast, light fruit, citrus and zesty spice.  Slightly dry with some earthy hops and funky yeast countered by hints of bread, apple, pear, citrus peel and pepper. As it warms, the citrus becomes more evident.  Very quaffable with a crisp, dry finish.

Pours a hazy dark amber, light cap of froth, some sticky lacing. Scent brings floral and grassy hop notes and a balanced earthy and grainy malt backbone, light toast and nuttyness, crusty bread, lightly sweet malt. Taste brings the malt to the front with the hope profile not quite as strong to stand up to it, light lemon, some orange zest with floral and grassy notes, a bit of tangyness and spice. Medium bodied, adequately carved, lightly dry. A decent beer, very pale ale like, but the hops don't do enough to stand up to the backbone.

First had: on tap at The Boilermaker, Philly, PA

Poured a murky, darker amber color with a fluffy white head that receded to a ringlet, leaving soapy lacing on the glass. Bready malt aroma overlaid with citrus. Nice taste, dry and biting, citrus zest, grassy and floral hops. Crisp and dry, light-medium body, easily drinkable and enjoyable overall.
