On tap at the Crooked Stave taproom at the Source. Poured into a Crooked Stave snifter glass today, 1/17/2014.
Beautiful clear yellow body, one finger white head that dissipates into a thin white collar. Lots of lacing throughout.
Smells much like a citrus juice- along with a nice acidic tartness that makes it even more citrusy, so to speak. Sharp vinegar and lemon, tangerine nose. Not intense but delicious just the same.
Follows the nose, though it doesn't integrate quite so well. Lemon, tangerine and vinegar. Comes together ok but the sourness ends up overpowering the citrus. Delicious though, sourness is 5/10.
Thinner body, good carbonation, easy to drink though I'm starting to get some heartburn already.
Nice use of citra hops in a sour saison. I like it, and it's fairly novel. Will drink this again.
