one of the better dry hop editions of this brew, some grassy and stone fruity notes from the hops add another dimension to this already dynamic and interesting wild sour ale. its hazy and sunny colored as always, holding a rampant white head several inches high and never settling back below the rim of the tulip glass. the nose shows the hops right away, being such a distinct varietal, this beer showcases it well. its natural herbal qualities go well with the brett complex in the finish, and just enough bitterness arises from the hops to round it out. the hops show up more in the nose than in the flavor, but thats what dry hopping gets you sometimes. carbonation is really nice, and the tartness continues to unfold on the palate after the swallow. all of the editions of this beer are delicious of course, but this may be my favorite behind only the galaxy edition. crooked stave cant miss for me.
