this may or may not be blueberry petite sour, i know they have renamed some stuff to keep the cellar reserve dogs at bay, but if it is, it has aged gracefully and its absolutely amazing right now at the taproom. deep pinky blue purple, sexy in the glass, under a tall white bubbly head with great retention and livelihood. it never fades at all. its as pretty a beer as you will see if you like fruited beers. the nose and taste both show a ton more blueberry than almost any other blueberry beer i know, save maybe cascade. the wild yeasts, the delicate malt bill, and the intense fruit and acidity all marry into one mouthwatering unique and delicious beverage that i like as much or more than the bottled version i had fresh. moderate oak profile, clean though, and not so sour on the whole that you couldnt drink a few of them or more. dry and effervescent, as wild ale should feel in my book. i have no complaints, this is incredible. go get one for yourself while it lasts, its just a real delight. best blueberry beer ive ever had.
