Pours a hazy light orangish color with fizzy light white head. Citrus, grapefruit, funk, tartness, and oak on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with grapefruit, tart and dry.

Smell is tart, lemon citrus, and oak. Taste is grapefruit, orange pith, a hint of apricot, and a nice amount of tartness. Another solid offering from Crooked Stave - a good citrus sour and a nice alternative to something more orange or lemon-forward.

A: Pours a murky golden grapefruit juice in color with minimal amounts of visible carbonation and some slight almost pinkish highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that quickly reduces to an extremely thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of funkiness with moderate grapefruit juice and citrus/grapefruit pith.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit zest and citrus/grapefruit pith with a light to moderate amount of bitterness. That is followed by moderate flavors of grapefruit juice which contributes a light to moderate amount of sweetness and tartness. Light to moderate amounts of funkiness in the finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: A very interesting combination of a radler and sour with a moderate amount of funkiness. Refreshing and enjoyable.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and has some pinkish hues. It poured with minimal head, leaving only a thing ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of grapefruit and sourness are present in the nose.
T: Compared to the smell, favors of grapefruit are much more dominant in the taste and particularly stand out in the finish, lending some bitterness and sourness.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The addition of grapefruit to this wild ale makes this somewhat more drinkable compared to other beers in the style. It wouldn't be a bad selection of you wanted a sour beer on a hot summer day.
