The dark brown beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a finely bubbled 1 1/2” dark tan head that recedes slowly to a cap and then a thin irregular island of foam on the surface and a small ring around the glass while leaving an open web of thick legs and patches of lacing on the sides of the glass. Sipping creates a couple of arches and some small patches of lacing that cling to the sides of the glass.
The aromas include lots of roasted coffee, some cocoa, caramel, nutty character and a bit of dark fruit.
The flavors are pretty much as expected from the nose and include the coffee, some cocoa, and some dark caramel or dark brown sugar sweetness. While the malt sweetness is present up front In the background there’s some dark roasted and lightly earthy bitterness along with just a bit of fruity, nutty character.
The mouthfeel is on the full side of medium bodied and fairly smooth with some lightly prickly small bubbled carbonation. The medium length finish begins as the toasted malt sweetness begins to fade and allow the coffee and nutlike flavors to show more cleanly before they too begin to fade and allow some earthy and dark roasted bitterness to move to the back of the palate and gradually fade away in a long dry ending.
Overall this is a very nice beer with all the aromas and flavors showing in a complex melange in which every thing seems to just fit right with everything else. Definitely enjoyable, drinkable and worth seeking out. I’ll be looking to have more.

Copenhagen 12/6 2020. 35,5 cl can from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Black can with a cup of coffee seen from above with a giant coffee bean.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big but bubbly light beige head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Settles as thin patches of foam swimming meekly around. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a roasted sweetness and light tart notes. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar, dark fruit lightly fermented, black coffee. Tart gooseberries peeking in. Light touch of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter-ish with a sweet undercurrent. Lingering.
Certainly a decent Porter. But it could use a little more Baltic heaviness.

black opaque tan head
smell is sweet like cocoa
taste is sweet and roasty with light vanilla aroma and there is a coffee scent like black coffee and turbinado sugar combined
the smoothness of coffee thst is not very bitter with residual sugars in the malt are blended with roast flavors in a way that is in unison with the yeast
Overall this is a great porter I would definitely drink again and recommend to fans of coffee flavored porter/stout

16oz. canned 12-10-19. Opened 5-2-20.
Luxurious 3-finger dense, beige head with fantastic retention, slowly fades to 1/4" and holds. Dark brown and as close to black as you can get with out being black. Mahogany edges. Thick, sticky lacing.
Molasses. Roasted malt. Some smoky char. Fruity, earthy coffee aroma.
Sweet and rich roasted malt, brown sugar, molasses, subtle coffee with a touch of cream...very well integrated flavors.
Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Rich and roasty lengthy coffee finish with very little lingering sweetness.
Well balanced all around.
Outstanding.

Pours a deep dark brown with a tan head with little staying power, but leaves nice lacing. Aroma is dark roasted malt and coffee. Flavor follows the nose, the coffee is nicely blended with the malt. Feel is on the thicker side of medium bodied. Overall a decent enough beer.
