750ml bottle. Poured out a clear, pale golden color with a small, white head of foam. It left almost no lacing. It smelled of tart lemon, green apple, oak and caramel. Great tart flavor with lemon, green apple and some pear. Light caramel backbone and fruitiness.

Had this during the 1st Denver trip in the summer of 2019 (late May/June). I think it was the first beer I had at the Crooked Stave taproom in that hotel. I enjoyed the quiet ambiance and this on draft.
Pours an orange like color. 1/2" white head. Its a professional appearance exceeding the average. Aroma of sourness, dry grain and oak. Nice mild green apple hay funk brett aspect to it.
Taste was good, about a 6 on the 10pt sour scale, but restrained acidity. Nice grain component, I wonder if the name is a play on the grains of paradise? Could explain the light pepper note. Then again that could just be the dryness of the oak giving off the citrus like note burn that I'm feeling as pepper. Either way, its a nice end product regardless of how inaccurate my reverse engineering guesses of the beer might be. Its a golden sour, but it offers more complexity than you might think without doing it for the sake of doing it. Would bang again.

750ml bottle poured into a tulip. Brewed in 2016.
A: Light orange with a hint of light brown, 1/2 finger head that quickly settles
S: Tons of lemon/lime, hints of tropical fruit and oak
T: Lemon/lime initially followed by a lovely mix of tropical and stone fruit with a bit of Brett
M: Light-medium bodied, very pleasant juiciness almost like a fresh IPA and a vibrant acidity
O: This drinks young despite being four years old! Complex, tasty and overall just a very well made & enjoyable beer

Bottled 4 years ago.
Pours semi-hazy golden-yellow with a white head.
The nose and taste are lemon, green apple, honey, and mild cheese funk.
The mouthfeel is medium.
Overall, tasty. A refined sour.
