Bottle 119 of 350 - Golden Sour Ale aged in White Wine Barrels with Mulberries, Candied Ginger, Orange Peel, and Muscat Raisins
Primary Fermentation: Crooked Stave mixed culture of wild yeast & bacteria in our original French Oak Foeder, baby foeder
Secondary Fermentation: Transferred to five French Oak white wine barrels with mulberries, candied ginger, California orange peel and muscat raisins
Fruit: Mulberries, Candied Ginger, California Orange Peel, and Muscat Raisins
Age: 12 months
Bottles: 350
Alc/vol: 7.6%
IBU: 12
Titratable Acidity: 13.9 g/l
Brewed with the holidays in mind, this beer is the perfect blend of each of the five ingredients. Slightly sweet with a lively mouthfeel. The mild citrus flavor complements the bold, yet balanced, ginger in this refreshing sour. We can't wait for the temperature outside to start dropping so we can crack open this unique offering.
