Picked this up recently at The Bottle King in Wayne as I hadn't had anything from Crooked Stave in quite some time. Loved the label and the collaboration with Omnipollo as this nailed the style nicely without being too sweet or too tart.
This had a distinctive, beet red look to it as it was topped off with a nice, offsetting salmon head that faded relatively quickly. Not much lacing was left behind as there were a few hints of rockiness near the center of my pint glass. Loads of Brett, blueberry, and milk sugar in the nose as the oak, tartness, and funk came through in that was that was equally sour, slick, and sticky. Never felt the almond here and the same was true for the booze and hops as this was true to form stylistically and quite easy to get accustomed to.
Dated 6/11 on the bottom of the can, this was lively, upbeat, and lacing in any sediment or skunk. This was more of a dessert beer or juice rather than a fermented cake but regardless of my impression, this was perfect for a nightcap and on par with it's disco ball-like label. Nice balance all-around here as this was a fun beer that was easily worth another go!

16oz can. Stamped on bottom lip is '6/11/2021'. Collaboration with Omnipollo.
Red/yellow colored body, with some cloudiness. One finger of pinkish head does not last long. Some tiny spots of lacing tend to slide down into body.
Aroma of Brett and oak, with some berry fruit and sweet vanilla.
Taste is initially tart and then goes sweet. Some Brett funk mixed with oak, and the sweeter flavors of berry fruit and vanilla. Flavors extend into the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Tart but not a tooth scraper. Small level of tongue fizz. Good carbonation.
The fermentation in the foeder brings some true depth to the funk. Good mix of sweeter flavors for balance.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, light red color with a very small, white head of foam. It left little to no lacing on the glass. It smelled of blueberry, almond, tart lemon, and some fruity notes. Nice tart blueberry taste with some funky brett and sweet fruitiness.
