This beer is a clear, rich gold color with a soft white blanket of foam. The aroma is a nice mix of earthy, herbal hops and a subtle juicy fruit note. The taste is clean, with a great balance and a firm bitterness in the mid taste. It reminds me of why I prefer the West Coast IPA to all of the recent Hazy styles. This one is straightforward and refreshingly delicious. Clean finish. Great.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit, guava and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Good, well balanced westie with nice mouthfeel; medium hoppiness; a subdued, complex citrusy/fruityish/melony-kinda flavor and a clean, crisp aftertaste. Very quaffable.
