Named after the year Manchester CT was founded, this copper colored beer is brewed as a traditional English style Extra Special Bitter. Toasted malt balanced with spicy, citrus hop bitterness.

Had a pint of this on tap at the Tullycross Brewhouse in Manchester, CT. A beautiful, well-balanced drinking bitter beer that goes with bar food especially well. No awkward aftertaste, not amazing necessarily in any category, but a nice safe drinkable choice if you're looking to eat at the same time. I would recommend it although it's not the best beer on tap here by far.
