On tap at Sigler's in Chattanooga as "Dead Horse" with 6.0% ABV.
Clear but opaque and essentially black body. Near medium body and soft, medium-light carbonation.
Adequate dark roasted grain flavor and aroma, but weaker than the Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat that preceded this. On the other hand, this has more obvious hops. The flavor has coffee in the finish and a touch of dark chocolate.

Served on tap at the Village Pub in Inglewood.
A muddy dark brown pour with a 1.5 finger white head leads to a lightly scented nose of chocolate and roasted malt. Unfortunately, this brew lacks the fullness in aroma and flavor that the other CalfKillers seem to have. On the palate, though, the structure is pretty nice- medium bodied with a chocolate wafery malt and a touch of marshmallow cream. The juniper edged bitterness is mild-moderate and leads to the drier finish with a touch of yeasty texture.
Overall not terrible but certainly my least favorite CK so far. Just needs a bit more flavor in there.
